A theme is a starting point, not a store.
Shopify has a large theme store, and most brands start there. The gap shows later: the product range outgrows the collection layout, campaigns need sections the theme does not have, and every change becomes a request to a developer.
We design around your catalogue, your customers and the people who will run the store day to day. Content is built as Shopify sections and blocks, so your team can change pages without touching code. Our package covers the build; Shopify's own plan fee in SGD is paid to Shopify, and we show both before you commit.

How much does ecommerce website design cost in Singapore?
Our Shopify setup packages are SGD 1,000, 1,500, 3,500 and 10,000, listed below. Shopify's plan fee is paid to Shopify separately. Custom design and integrations are quoted per project, and support after launch is SGD 150 per hour or prepaid credit hours.
What does Shopify itself cost in Singapore?
Shopify lists Basic at SGD 29, Grow at SGD 99 and Advanced at SGD 399 per month billed yearly, or SGD 39, 132 and 531 billed monthly (October 2026). The right plan depends on order volume, staff accounts, locations and checkout needs. We recommend one during discovery.
Does Shopify support PayNow in Singapore?
Not through Shopify Payments. In Singapore it takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. PayNow needs a third-party provider such as Stripe or HitPay, and Shopify then charges its third-party fee of 2%, 1% or 0.6% by plan (October 2026). We set the gateway up before launch.
Do I need to charge GST on my Shopify store?
Singapore GST is 9%. Registration is required when taxable turnover exceeded S$1 million in a calendar year, or is expected to in the next 12 months. Confirm your position with your tax adviser; if you are registered, we set the store's tax settings before launch.
Do I need to buy a theme?
For the Starter, Basic and Professional packages, yes: the theme licence is paid by you and is not included in the package price. The Business package includes a paid theme. Custom design projects are quoted separately, including whether a paid theme is used as a base.
Can my team edit the store after launch?
Yes. We build with Shopify sections and blocks, so homepage, landing and collection content can be edited in the theme editor without code.
Can you take over a store another agency built?
Yes. We review the theme and installed apps first, then quote fixes or changes against what we find.
